Create a Variety of Flavors With Reliable Technology

Miyajima Shoyu was founded in 1882 in Karatsu City, Saga Prefecture, Japan as a soy sauce brewery. Now, we have three factories: Central Factory and Myoken Factory in Karatsu City, and Utsunomiya Factory in Utsunomiya City, Tochigi Prefecture.

We produce fermented foods including soy sauce and miso, and various kinds of sauces, liquid soup, grilled meat sauce, dipping sauces, dressings, spices, retort-packed and frozen foods. In addition to own-label foods for general markets, we are providing various ODM & OEM products to many clients. Also, we are producing seasonings and foods for professional use in the food service industry, including food factories and restaurant chains.

Traditionally, we used to learn lots of dietary knowledge from eating, enjoying the various blessings of nature through eating meals every day. Nowadays, however, different dietary problems are arising as our lifestyle changes constantly. To solve such problems, dietary (or food) education should be prioritized in our daily life. Dietary education helps us build the essentials for life-long healthy mind & body and nurture “the power & zest for living well.” I hope every family will acquire correct dietary knowledge & wisdom by conveying “importance of eating” to its members and by cultivating self-awareness about such importance spontaneously in the course of their daily lives.
